Is it possible that that Olympus makes a camera with bigger sensor that is compatible with current m4/3 lenses ?

I think Nikon has a FF that detects their APC lenses when mounted and adapts the sensor to only allow a smaller area to be used. So there is no vignetting.

So, yes, it is possible.

The Nikon D3s and D3x allow you switch from FX to DX format  (FF to APC)

I mean without cropping and lost of quality.

Then you will get a picture with a big black circle around it, and furthermore the lens will not focus to infinity.

Small glass+big sensor=a large vignette.  You need to crop, and the adapter will need some form of correction glass to compensate for any increase or decrease in rear lens element distance to the sensor...

The photographic result is entirely dependent on the size of the circle of the lens.

The photographic result is entirely dependent on the size of the circle of the lens.

If Olympus made a larger sensor that had the internal capasity to switch the aspect ratio (like the Nikon D3s/x), Oly would have to develop a new set of lenses...
At the rate they add lenses to the m4/3, that could be 3-4 years in before they have a good selection. Too long in this day and time..

Fuji had to Introduce popular fast primes with the new body...for the RF crowd to lust after, to have a high sale average at the introduction.
