Payment methods available in Supplyvideo Store:
Western Union Order
Wire Transfer Payment

That's $300 you'd never see again.

When it looks too goo to be true....   :(

The front of the advertisement says Paypal or credit card payment. I never clicked on the "payment method" link I was not going to trust it. alreadt ordered the Best Buy E-P1 for 230.00 and have been waiting for three days for them to process the order. If I find a better deal I will cancel that order. They should know better then to take so long.

After three days: "Order Status: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled. "

Well I think they are just advertising at a competitive price and waiting for someone to return an E-P1 and then ship it out. If they had one in stock like they said then it should have shipped. So I canceled the order and bought one from Craigslist. A little risk but much gain. Just 20.00 more and I got the flash, leather case, the 14-42 kit lens (I think that was it not in front of me) with a UV filter, charger, two batteries, a little carry along backpack.

So since I have got to test it I think I came out ahead. I just updated my firmware on the camera and lens. I also updated to two lenses for my Olympus E-410 a 40-150 and 14-42 kit lens. I think if I understand correctly they will work including the AF. Purchased the Olympus adapter (probable paid too much) for 43 to m43, Also purchased a cheap OM to M43 adapter from a Chinese site (Up to 21 days to wait!).

AND!

After considering the really nice M.Zuiko Digital, 45mm, f1.8. I looked at some awesome pictures using the Olympus OM 50mm f1.8 I purchased one also for a much cheaper price.

All this for a little better pictures than my E-410 (who knows maybe a lot better). And all of this should be compatible with the new OM-D, should I decide to upgrade further.......or win the lotto.

Took indoor pictures around my house and they came out great I think. Took some outside of my backyard project all to boring to post here. But I really like the results so far. Maybe once I get all these chores done I will actually manage to find something exciting to capture on JPG and post here.

cotneye, you've made a wise, cautious intro into the world of Micro Four Thirds. But you'll quickly realize that using adapted lenses (except for seldom-used specialty lenses) is a big pain in the rear. I gave up on all my adapted legacy lenses except for the Canon FD 50mm macro. But if cost is a major consideration, then adapted is the way to go.

Well I got my MMF2 4/3 to m4/3 adapter today and took some pictures at a park by my work using the Olmpus 40-150mm 1:4-5.6 and was plesantly surprised to find that the Af works. I updated the firmware so I guess that helps. I know this for the things I personally like to photograph more zoom is what I want.

Squirrel up a tree. and no cooperating with me to get the light right.

Oh and I resisted the urge to pprocess those two in any way before posting them which was not easy but that is how the lense worked directly on my camera no processing.

For me it's exactly the opposite... I find more satisfaction using my MF Pentacon 50mm and 28mm than using the lens kit...  :-\

To each his own, I guess. It really depends on whether you enjoy manually focussing and setting the aperture.
