More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

Actually, it's closer to $250 for the body and $400 for the lens, if you use realistic figures from selling them apart.

Just got mine as well and I agree wholeheartedly! Everyone was right--it's pricey but worth it.

Cosina, I'll tell ya truthfully. Some of the images you get with the GF1 are simply beautiful. I know it
is a vision thing but the camera does record in a very special way. I got the camera today. It took all of 3-4 minutes to get it up and running. The interface is simply intuitive. The raw files so far are exquisite.
It'll get a good workout this weekend and then I'll decide to either keep or unload the Pen2.

i say keep em both, shooter! you are right about the gf1 ,its IQ is simply stunning raw , but the ibis for the  panny 20mm that ole faithful [my ep1] delivers is something i dont like to live without ,if i can help it  :)

the gf1 works so transparently  sometimes i forget there is a machine between me and the world while im shooting

Agreed about the IBIS but that not enuff for me, I think.
The AF on the GF1 is much better and the adjustable target size...great important feature.
The Pens are certainly more elegant but that wears out quickly.
I'm in the testing stage with the GF1 but it's doing good so far.
