Interesting project, but in fact a tilt/shift lens does NOT make photographs look like minatures!!! This lens in fact is a perspective control lens like what a view camera does. I have 2 of them for my canon system plus I have a view camera and have used them for years.  This art mode like the pin hole mode on the pen's can create some interesting effects, but they most certainly do NOT do what the real equipment does.
