Waiting for primes....
« on: August 27, 2009, 01:29:14 PM »
Zooms are ok, but I need primes. Let's see if they announce primes at IFA and if in the USA we will be able to buy them at some shops (the GH1 is very hard to find)

I am also very interested in some fast primes. I do not have high hopes for the yet to be released Panasonic 20mm 1,7 as i am sure it wont be cheap nor will it be very sharp. I would have preferred to have seen a regular prime (instead of pancake) with the same specifications.

ALTHOUGH! I do hope I'm wrong about the 20/1,7 and it turns out to be sharper than the 17/2.8 and not much more expensive. THAT would be exciting!

Just my thoughts. :)
