Finallly got the ordered Oly M.Zuiko ED 12mm/f2.0 here in the "Land of Smiles". It has taken quite a few weeks, though. Have only had a few test shots so far, -
one of them right below here. Will need more time to decide about sharpness, rendering and so on, - but bsed on cosinaphiles photos, (and other that can be seen
on different web pages, I have no reason to suspect other than premium results: I guess it will be moreorless permanent on the E-P1).

The lens leaves the owner an absolute thrust that this is quality work building wise, it's really beautifully crafted, - and on the Oly PEN E-P1 silver it looks stunning. (Less so
on my black E-P", - but that's all a matter of taste, - on the black body I would personally prefer the lens black, as well. Maybe a later production model will take care of that?).

i had the same impression when i first mounted my 12mm on the e-p1
it is stunning , it is the type of lens that should have launched with the ep1, the lens the camera was made for ,imho

nice shot btw , its hella sharp and good isnt it? and so nicely made , i love it

I am impressed with all the samples posted of this lens...
I hope that Oly will provide a complete set lenses of this quality...
