If I'm not mistaken, this is the same technique that brands like Sigma use. I wonder how many other lenses are out there that have been modified to the Micro Four Thirds mount, and the abilities that they can have if done right.

I did reverse engineer the mount very quickly and provided the drawing to a local craftsman who still makes m4/3 mount adapters. Reverse engineering the communications protocol is much, much more difficult.
