Panasonic 45mm macro
« on: October 14, 2010, 11:54:26 AM »
Well I ordered the Pana-Leica 45mm macro today for use on water drops.  It is supposed to arrive tomorrow (I have little faith in this as it is a camera company that I have never worked with).  I hope that it is as sharp as I have been told!   Time will tell.

This lens gets the least amount of press of all the Micro Four Thirds lenses. I think the quality is the best of all of them too.

I think it's not the number one sales hit due to its price...

High price as a moderately short focal length for a macro lens. I find my 50mm lens too short most of the time although it is suited quite well to indoor still work.
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.

More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

Yes, I got the lens! Very nice build, TINY objective very very very sharp! Did I mention that it is sharp?  I will post more on it later on. It has been too cold and I haven't felt very good this past week.  I hope to setup and shoot wetter drops this coming week with it.
