Got my MF-2 adapter today and took some shots of some Om lenses on my E-P1. This one is the Om 28mm f/2.8 lens. This is 56mm with the 2x crop of the camera... I'll get some samples up soon... anyone else shooting with this lens?

I wonder why they had to make that adapter so large considering the lens doesn't auto focus unlike the MF-1 adapter.

They have to make it long enough to perserve the OM flange distance, or the lens will not behave properly.

yeah, that's the down side of using slr lenses on E-P1. Unless you use additional glass (changing optics characteristics), you'll have to imitate the flange back of the original camera body that the lens was intended for.

I still love using using MF-2 adapter and my OM glasses, but I'll be using more of Leica L/M mount lenses for this reason. RF cameras don't have mirror box so the flange back is very short.

More properly is the old PenF glass, so have more short flange distance maby.
