Is a good lens...........

Wide lens of all............

In my wish list.....

I own 2 lens from CV...
40 f1.4 SC and 15mm f4.5.
Next 2 will be 12mm f5.6 and 50mm f1.5..

I love the CV lens...All like little gem...
When your E-P1 dress with them....
They really look handsome and make people look at you.
Even the pro-shooting will look at your little gem...

I had both Heliars and a Kobalux 21mm. Liked them a lot, also on R-D1 but sold them for the Panny 7-14 superzoom. That lens is incredible. Better for the m4/3 sensor than the separate lenses because of the smearing effect in corners. But the 12mm is the best of them!

the 12 is considered  among the  finest finished and made lens  in the voigtlander lineup according to a site that sells this lens , i would love to have it , i own the 15 4.5 heliar and its dof and perspective are unique and stunning although the 15mms focal length focal technically  gives about 29-30 mm fov
on a m4\3 camera it looks nothing like the kit lens at 14 or 15. a very different lens , the 12 is even more so and is said to be sharper than the 15 , which i think is pretty good

It gives you a very good wide angle with the 24mm equivalent. The small aperture might be a problem sometimes though.

That's true, if used for landscapes then the aperture won't be a problem due to the amount of light being taken in.
