I disagree... the "Lens of the Year" should have been the Holga 25mm f/8 (m4/3rds mount) :D

Note the classic design, the high quality optics, the all plastic construction...

Hey, that Holga lens is just like a Canon EF-s lens! Just a lot cheaper.

I will agree with the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 as getting the gong. Not only is it optically excellent, it is great value for money and focusses fast, even when I put in on my old E-P1. I quite often head out with the Olympus 12mm on my E-P3 and the 45mm on my E-P1. While I would probably use the 12mm 3 or 4 times as much as the 45mm, I agree it is the right one to get the win. Now if only it had the supurb mf arrangement as the 12mm lens. It really would be perfect.
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.
