I think this is an outstanding lens. Especially considering I paid $10 for it (not incl. s&h).

Is that a Gnome I see hiding in the background?

I too got this lens for super cheap, though I spent $15. Quite a nice lens. Pretty sharp wide open, though with some fringing on high contrast points. Fringing is gone and the lens is super sharp by f/5.6.

WEll, got a Vivitar 200mm f/3.5 in the mail the other day..

And had a crappy overcast day to take her out in..

So, I found a stream, and took some photos of the water passing over some rocks... at ISO 2000 and f/3.5 at around 1/200 to 1/500

I did use the Noiseware Professional plugin.

Great Buy!, Yeah, this lens is real deal, it is well made, sharp, and great colors... And Cheap on Ebay.
