How large is the front element? 100mm?

I payed 175$ for it. This is YS mount and has same screw thread as T mount, but I'm not able to use the aperture before I get my YS to m42 adapter.
It's pretty easy to modify to m42 with just a T mount to m42 also, you just modify the pin to always be in "downstate" mode :D

It could be a very handy tele in lowlight situations with short dof, but it's bulky and heavy on the PEN ;)

There are different versions out there of the 135mm f1.8 and different brands.

But as far as I know M-42 must not be forced into a T-mount and vice-versa due to the different thread pitch they have.

I want a "deep" DOF shot of the last photo to see all (or only part) of your gorgeous lenses collection. :)
An amazing fast lens and as always, beautiful portrait.

Beautiful lens and images Nordentro! Quite a handfull on the Pen. The almost non existant dof is nice. Love the looks of your Pen too.

Had one of these lenses once and in a rare moment of lunacy sold it. Can't remeber now if it was a Spiratone or Soligar. Wish I had kept it! Selling lenses is stupid :(.
thanks

I have a 85mm f/1.8 Vivatar with no f/stops... it was removed...
I'll have to get a m4/3>pk adapter and try it out...
I know with outside images, the "softness/flare/dreamy" look is weird...When I had Pentax K20d...
I saw one on eBay sell (w/ the f/stops) for $160.00  ???
The 135 looks a lot sharper than 85mm wide open.

That is a lovely lens for Portraits..
Nice sharp:soft ratio on the cute baby

The berry's are nice and sharp too.... What f/stop ?
Does it really focus that close, or is that a crop?

Yes, it's quite good :)

The red house is f8.
Baby photo is handheld inside with iso 100 and f1.8.
The rest is also wide open
Nearest focus distance is 1.8 meters/ 6 feet.

Not berry's but apples from last summer still on the three :D
