Ohhhhhh ... that looks sweet , my Soligor 1:2.8 looks tiny in comparison...

This thread is now listed in "The Lens Sample Archive"
What a heck of a lens... my Vivitar 85mm 1.8 is compact in comparison..
Can't wait to see some shots at f/2 and f/2.8

photos taken were mostly lacking contrast which i expected when i got this lens as per reviews i've read on the net. a 5 minute "picknik-fix" helps. hehe.

Buy these results this is a nice lens. Sharpness is good, colors look great, and you are a proud owner of a lens with a field of view of 270mm at f/2.  A perfect lens for school productions in the gym. Of course you can't be sitting too close. I am talking about taking pictures of one child., as a parent.

The first photo rocks. Not the sample, but the photo of the lens front element.

Looks really beautiful, that glass.  Mint, I presume? Somewhat heavy on the E-P1, - but that's something one can live with, - at least now&then, if it shoots great photos, I guess.  Nice glass always make me drool!
