I got my hands on a Sigma Macro 2,8/90 with Minolta SR-Mount (MC/MD). It's magnification ratio is 1:2 and it comes with an additional achromatic 1:1 lens. I'm very happy, both with sharpness and bokeh.

E-PL1 with Sigma Macro 2,8/90 and a Forget-me-not at f=2,8.

Those are really natural looking colors this lens delivers, and the sharpness is excellent.
The last Butterfly is my favorite.

With the flowers, try moving back a bit and use a small f/stop like f/11, adjust the ISO for f/11. Then crop it in post. Much more will be in focus. With my 55mm, I back off to about 24", with a 90mm, you may to back off a little for more DOF.
