Panasonic 8mm Fisheye Review *****
« Reply #52 on: June 19, 2011, 09:04:14 AM »
Actually, I'd say it's sharper than the 7-14 (not that I choose which to use based on sharpness, as the 7-14 is an awesome lens and gets far more use than the 8mm). It's an incredibly good lens and is the best fisheye overall of all the ones I've owned on multiple formats. It's not cheap, but it is not overpriced given its quality and comparable fisheyes for full frame.

wow if its sharper than the 7-14 it must be a lethal weapon, :o

frankly i was surprised at the sharpness of the
7-14mm, where can i see some full suized samples of the 8mm in all its glory?

Nice shot! You can't even tell it was from a fisheye.

More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

Now I want one. Makes my 9-18 look pedestrian by comparison.

Amazing what a difference of one extra millimetre can do here (9-->8mm)!

OH.....
A really great stadium photo...
You should make a HUGE print and see if PNC Park will display it in their corporate office...   :)
