Thx guys. This lens blows me away more and more the more I use it.

Best m43 lens I have used. On the EP3, it is very quick and sucks in a good amount of light. Shooting with it at the steel mill really made me a happy 45mm owner.

. . . still trying my hand at portraiture. I've grown very found of my 'silver bullet', the Oly M.Zuiko 45/1.8.

This one from Saturday afternoon, - no additional lightening or 'tools' of any kind, - just the pm sun, and keepin' in the shadows, - sunlight reflected from white perimeter wall.

E-P1&Oly M.Zuiko 45/1.8 @ 1/500 - f1.8 - 0 bias - ISO200

If you are a m43 user you should get this lens. If you are on the fence, get off, get this lens. It is a great lens.

It sure does. It just pops out at you in every shot. Makes you want to shoot everything at wide open (where it's still very sharp). Tough choice, eh? (I use to automatically tell everyone to get the 20mm first, then the 45mm. But I'm not so sure now that I've used my 45 for a while...)

Yes, $300 would be a steal indeed...$400 is more like the going rate! This lens has never failed to impress, from its optics to its fast, silent focussing.
