I also used the Same adapter with my 55/200 mm VR "G" nikor & am delighted with the results.
Adjusting the aperture is fine & the focussing is manual as with most of the adapters I looked at.
Prices are very reasonable & can be found on various sites.

To clarify things:--
The Full beach scene is from the quite old Sigma 24mm a relic from my days using film.

The Upright " Stroll" scene is from my 55/200mm VR Nikor a lens which is for Digital cameras.

I also have A 50mm f1.8 AF Nikor standard lens & a 55mm AI micro nikor both of which I have tried & give excellnt results.
My Next experiment will be with my Sigma 10/20mm Lens + the adapter which = 20/40mm, should be good for interiorsd & land/street scenes.
Images will be uploaded from time to time, Will advise.

Not I will be 80 in 2 months & I still love my photography, the Micro 4/3 system has reduced the weight I carry around, but I take the D90 kit when on holiday in the UK.( That could change)

I am in the market for a Nikon G adapter for my Olympus PEN.

What adapter are you using and can you provide a link to it (prefrably some selling them)?

I got mine from ' Bonds Cameras ' on E-Bay I do not have direct link for this as I deleted info when Item arrived .
