Nikkor - Nippon Kogaku 5cm f/2 Lens Samples *****
« on: February 27, 2010, 03:09:29 PM »
I bought this Nikkor over 15 years ago at a swap meet with a Canon Serenar 35mm f2.8.  Both with Lieca screw mounts.  Now I have a M39 adapter, I can make use of them again.  The Nikkor has minimum focus of 3.5 feet otherwise it's pretty good.

M4/3 is nirvana for rangefinder users who are still keeping loads of marvelous lenses.
My envy. :)

gareth,  I can see you have a lot of good old lenses too. When I come back to HK, you have to teach me where to get those bargains.  BTW, you should leave some money for your son's toys intead of yours.

Hi Stephen, let me know when you visit Hong Kong for a good chat. :)

I always determine to be the best "toy" for my boy and girl.
(Hope that they would feel the same).

They surely have adequate toys for their ages.
However, they do not and will not have any expensive toy.
(My wife and I decided that).
We think that he should earn his own "expensive toy" when he's able to do so. :)

I agree 100%.  Don't spoil your kids.  I have a friend trying to bid on 2 Olympics Hockey final tickets for 2,000 Cdn but his wife forbid him to bring his son for the same reason.  He was not succesful on the bid for it went up to over 7,000 Cdn.  It could be more after Canada went into the final with US.
