The recommended hole size for the 40mm is 13mm; I've tried that and it works very well. I haven't used my KH lenses for quite a while and couldn't find the baffle I made so thought I'd try 12mm and see how it worked. It's not too bad when mounted correctly but I put it at the camera mount end of the adapter on this shot which makes for stronger vignetting (it should go close to the rear element). Doubt if I'll use 12mm again, although in this case I actually quite like tonality at the corners....

Looks very neat on this camera! Fine photo too, but I suppose it was rather stopped down, in order to have that much DOF.

Shot completely with the 40mm Hexanon...which I may add I do not really like as a lens and doesn't hold a candle to the 50mms.

I made some street portraits using this lens. Sure, manual focus is a pain, but the results one can get surpass the difficulties...

I'm really impressed with the sharpness of this "kit lens".

Lens arrived today in perfect condition.
The lens is really small. About 1/3 bigger than the adapter.
Wide open the lens is a bit blurry. From 2.8 it is tack sharp.
The bokeh is nice !
This one is shot at 4f. IS0 200

I use this lens on E-3 and should say that lens is really fantastic! It's really nice for portraits and gives enough dof (for me). It is very sharp! Few photos taken with it:
