This lens is a little smaller than the Hexar model and has a built in hood shade which is nice.

Well I don't know, but I think I think 5.6 or 8 but it possible that 1 is taken at 3.5.
Bottom line : I don't know.

I have this lens too, feels pretty good on the E-P1, not compact though. Even in 7x mode for focusing it's OK if you have a fairly steady hand.

And from the EXIF data on dbuckle's photo it looks like it was taken with an E-PL1. I found a handy extension for my browser (Chrome) that shows the EXIF data of a photo with a simple right-click. It's called, unsurprisingly, "EXIF Viewer".

It is a nice lens...
I also a 135mm lens (nikkor), but, the Focal length is a good one for flowers (with a +2 filter) and portraits with busy backgrounds shoot wide open.

Nice Colors and textures.

No, very easy to hold steady. The IS of the E-P1 is doing a fine job.

The lens is very sharp, produces nice color and a nice Bokeh.

The lens is fairly small compared to other 135mm legacy lenses. Well build and a built in hood shade.

Konica Hexanon lenses are in general very good !

I really can recommend this lens.

What type of lens mount adaptor would I need for a Hexanon lens?

First shot with my Hexanon 135mm f3.5 on my EP1, not great but still trying to get used to manual focus handholding such a big lens!

Not bad at all!  The white on the seagulls are very demanding.  The aid of a tri- or monopod would help immensely, both with setting f and with blur, of course.  More even so when the bird's flying.  There's a reason why all the soccer (and other sports) photographers use it, I would think.

Nice shot, but I would crop the picture so that the bird is in the middle and add a little contrast.
But not bad at all man ! Please post some more pictures. :)
