Hanimex always had a good looking finish... like the focus ring finish!

dbuckle, did you use a Pentax adapter for this one, or another?

Thanks for answer :)

Yes it seems to be very good as you can see by the photos.  I'd sell you this one but the shipping might be too expensive.  :)

Pretty sharp and contrasty! I wish I could use it on my film cameras.

Now it has happened, my neighbour did give it to me for free!

Hurray :)

So I have to ask again to make it clear, I need a Pentax adapter to use it?
Best wishes to you all!

Yes it is the Pentax 42 threaded mount not the the PK mount adapter.

That Chinon 135mm f2.8 lens has been produced both M42- & K- mounts...

I found one, the last thing I searched for now before bed, M42 to M43 - is that the same as Pentax 42 mount?

Thanks in advance for answer.
Best wishes to you all!

Yes that should be the one if the lens is a thread mount.  Enjoy your lens. :)

I found out it is a Pentax K-mount. It was written on the rear lens cover :)

...and now the Kipon adapter is ordered.

The best thing with the adapter is that I still have some lenses left from my Pentax K-7, so now I can use 'em on my E-P3.

Thanks dbuckle, I think I'll enjoy using it :)

Best wishes to you all!

Good for you Eureka  :).

I also have K-5, MZ-S and several rare top quality KAF-, KA-, and K-bajonet lenses by myself. But only time will tell how long  I'm still willing to wait for KAF-bajonet FF digibody...before put all that (great) gear on sale.

Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I got the adapter by the mail today, so now I've tested the Chinon-lens for a day. I'm really satisfied with it for so long, at least for outdoor-shooting in daylight.

The metal roof of my mum and dad's woodshred. I picked this photo of these I shot today to show the differences in the color tones between the ladder and the roof.

'n' this is my parents compost. I did choose this photo to show the dynamic range, I think it's shown pretty good in this one.

If you look in the brushwood to the left of the fir, you can see raindrops in the sticks. Try to zoom it :)

This is the first time I contribute with my photos to lens samples, hope I did it in the right way :)
Best wishes to you all!
