I picked up this lens from Camera no Kitamura (Japanese camera/developing chain store) for 円１，８００ (about $20 USD.)

Was in perfect shape, they also had the nFD version which is F4 and non-macro but lighter body. Anyway. Here's a look at the lens, and the lens on the body (mounted using a Nipon FD M4/3 mount from eBay.) (Taken with iPhone 4, blegh in the dark.)

Here's some sample shots that I took real quick on my desk in a fluorescent light atmosphere. Olympus E-P1, ISO800 at F3.5:

I will definitely take some day time pictures when I get the time.

do you think will the japanese sanely commit to a non nuclear future like the germans recently did or are the conections of the nuke industry to corrupt government too powerful

here in the us we are fucked by the fascist arrangement between govt and industry, you might remember

What's up bro! The meltdown crisis... They'll most likely just follow along with whatever other countries do (as usual.) Hehehe. There's not much talk about it these days, same like people don't talk about Katrina anymore.

I will take some pictures tomorrow outside in the afternoon, I'm sure I'll get some good stuff

I'm not sure when I will go back, but after my 2nd little one is born, I will definitely have to make a trip out there to show the family and friends... He'll be born next month! So possibly sometime mid 2012. Will definitely let you know
