I promised myself a few months ago that I wasn't going to buy any more Canon FD lenses and of course I broke my promise. I was originally looking for the Canon FDn macro 200 which is fairly scarce when I came across this unit, I can't compare the macro to this one but I think it is safe to say that this f4 version outperforms the FD 200mm F2.8 (I've tried several of those and they have terrible CA). I've been using this mainly for video with both the GH2 and the AF100 and the internal-focus is sweet, as soon as it warms-up a little I will post more stills. Very sharp, very compact-balances well on the GH2. VERY CHEAP!

The light is atrocious here, overcast and snowing, blowing snow or ice fog since before Christmas (or at least everytime I have had a chance). It gets a little frustrating this time of the year, I have a bunch of testing I need to do and direct daylight is actually pretty difficult to get.

If I get a cooperative day I am going to do a battery of tests with this 200, my new Tokina 24-40 f2.8 and the new Summicron 50 as well as about 20 different Hacks I want to compare to the GH2 firmware update.
