The Great Fall 2012 CONTEST!
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:17:32 PM »
Time for a contest with a real fun prize, and it's not just some extra cash for your wallet this time.

It's this guy.

Been wanting to try one of the new Olympus 15mm f/8 body cap lenses out? Here's your chance.

This contest is going to revolve around our favorite photographic season, Fall. Find something that reminds you of fall, and post a photo of it in this thread. Remember, Fall can mean anything, so get creative with it and people will love you. This contest will run until December 21st, 2012, at which point the world will end and I won't have to give out a prize (just kidding, that's the date that Winter starts). So start getting your Fall on now, and this contest has a very unique twist to it.

Entries from any mirrorless camera will be accepted*, just note the camera and lens in your submission, and if a different camera than Micro Four Thirds is used, a cash redemption for the value of the prize will be offered for your own purposes.

Limit one submission per member.

So this one goes out to everyone mirrorless, so go take some photos, post them here, and have some fun!

* Definition of mirrorless camera is a digital interchangable lens camera that is not a standard SLR design. Compact fixed lens cameras are not included.

Hello Voyager. Question for you: When you say "and if a different camera than Micro Four Thirds....."  ,   is it also open to 35mm film cameras?

thanks, that photo you posted is classic, simple and very intense, it really gets my vote, it makes you wanna live there and raise some kids. You should see what fall looks like here, im looking out the window right know and every tree is blossoming green, it sucks, I want all that glowing orange you guys get. Im also not gonna win any prices in winter! My winters are 93 degrees!!! But the spring and summer make it all worth it...

If it is a camera that does not have a mirror and has interchangable lenses, you can use it. That strict interpretation is open to whatever you want.

I could always remove the mirror from my 5D...hmmmm?   :o

Actually, early 5Ds the mirrors just flew right out...hence the "mirror fix".
