Here in the U.S., I would assume the not drinking and the not driving are related.

My limited knowledge of Europe in general and Bulgaria in particular fosters the ideas that your public transportation is good.....or that driving is prohibitively costly/regulated.

Choke who doesn't drive very far in the islands

In Bulgaria - not good at all, but still existing.
Western Europe - OMG, I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It is perfect there!

On the contrary. It is cheap (as long as you can afford the expensive gasoline), but I don't really need to drive.
Parking one's car may become a true nightmare.

I'd be cautious though, you'd be better in a Bar/Restaurant like Applebees, or Friday's. Or a local pub with live music.
