A slot car that accelerates to 63mph for 0.3sec?

These happen to be the fastest slot cars in the world, accelerating to 63mph (100km/h) for just 0.3sec, an reaching a max. speed of 100mph (~160km/h).

The track has 8 lanes and is 47m (~154ft) long and the footage is from the World championship in Helsinki, Finland:

Oh, man, When was a  preteen, I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and we had an indoor Slot-Car track, actually they had 3 tracks. I had my own 20' of track at home also.
That is Soo Much Fun!
