A Walk On Exmoor
« on: July 27, 2011, 11:04:57 AM »
A video i shot today using my E-PL1 and the 14-42 kit lens.  I edited it using Window Movie Maker.  Let me know what you think, Darren :D

Very nice indeed. Beautiful in places.

The only thing I would say is the pan at 55s, for me, was out of place and jarring (if pressed I would say it was really too fast for a pan that wasn't following something). Are you familiar with the tripod "elastic band trick"?

I know what you mean, i watched it after it was converted and wasn't happy with it.  Next time will be better, i have a few tips from people to keep in mind.

I think the Smashing Pumpkins cover of Landslide is the my happy place of the day. This video is very well done.

It is the most beautiful cover of a song.  I always like Pumpkins when i first heard Gish, but this song made me fall in love with their music.  Thanks for the comments ;)

Really, it was great - just that one pan. I found a youtube clip that shows the rubber band trick in case others are interested -
