Firestone Alley
« on: February 17, 2012, 06:21:32 PM »
Finally got to stop by an alley that I've driven past several times.  Always thought it looked like a cool place to shoot.

Some background about the place: http://admiringlight.com/blog/finally-stopping-in-firestone-alley/

All with GX1 and Olympus 12mm f/2 and 45mm f/1.8.

And one from a little cove in Huntington Park:

I like the third a lot, and I think what makes it good in black and white is that it isn't so many colors in the original version.

That was my favourite of these, but every photo from this is very good. For example I also like the last one where you can see the depth in that photo.

Brilliant, Jordan!
Best wishes to you all!

very very sharp, the last one is indeed 100 feet deep. could you tell me what lens sot what photo?
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

2 and 3 are with the 45.  Rest are the 12/2.

Glad you all like them!
