Wedding in B/W
« on: August 27, 2010, 01:30:46 AM »
Made some nice wedding pictures with my E-P2.  After that I converted them into B/W with Digikam (linux software) They jave one of my fav. filters, the Ilford sfx400, my favorite film in the analoge age. After I toned it with platinum filters.

They look very nice, but too small size to really form an opinion...

put them onto flickr soon :-)

Anticipated.
The B/W conversion should be interesting.
Do you if Mac equivalent software is available for the one you used? Thanks.

Very good work. I am also glad to find another Linux user around!
BTW, the size limit in the forum gallery is way higher than the limit for in-topic attachment.

That second photo is beautiful. The others are very nice as well. If you add them to the forum gallery, you will be able to show everyone much larger versions. Attachment space is generally not made for this kind of thing.

Thanks for the great reactions. I am new too this forum, so still learning the way here.  have to introduce my self in the other section :-).  In the "old" days I use to work a lot with selenium toning.  Now i work into linux with digikam software.  lots of filtering and for the special works I use "gimp" the linux equivalent of photoshop.  All free software and works great. Used to work in photoshop on my mac, but the mac broke down.  I hate microsoft so now I do all in linux.

for the whizzkids under you: http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/378.
