La Sagrada Familia
« on: September 16, 2011, 03:53:44 AM »
Here's a photo I made from two shots of the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona (the 14mm end of the kitlens was too long to capture the whole scene in one shot - I really need to add some shorter focal lengths to my collection).

After I stitched the photo it was quite lifeless and dull, with lots of distracting elements: several cranes and construction nets, as the cathedral has been a construction site since the project was started about a century ago, and a foreground cluttered with vehicles, traffic signs and a brightly coloured kiosk. But I feel the photo does work in black & white with a touch of sepia. Amazing what's achievable with just a little tweaking in Lightroom.
