I was wondering if the E-P1 stores what aperture, ISO, and shutter speed was used to take each photo. I'm asking this because the girlfriend's dingy little Samsung camera saves this info to each picture.

It does. It is called EXIF metadata. Photomanipulation programs may however strip it off.

Yes, this information is visible when you review the photos on the camera (you may have to press Info a few times). It's also displayed when you view the photo in Picasa and most photo viewers. If you use Olympus Master or Olympus Viewer, it'll show lots more EXIF information.

Flickr automatically stores this information too (if you upload your photos to Flickr). The info is available publicly on the site.
