hi im new to this four thirds i have an ep1 ,take pictures yesterday and try to upload the pics in my email,size is of the pictures is to big so i was not able to,is there a setting in my camera to resize it 640x480 with out using the software that come with it.

There should be a resize option In your software that came with the camera.
But I think there is a better program To do this with, I would recommend "faststone resizer" . It is free and has a lot of options for resizing typical sizes. It will also add a prefix to your new smaller file, And it can also bulk rename files separately.

In camera you always want to Photograph at the largest size you can. This way you will always have a file you can print large pictures from later.

I will start a "Tutorial" for resizing images in various programs this afternoon....

I resize by clicking with the right button and selecting "resize image". I have Ubuntu with nautilus-image-converter.

I have started a "Tutorial" for resizing images in various programs.

If anyone wants to make one, please make it ONE REPLY, that way, each reply is a separate program. With the Program Name in the Subject. you can't use "quick reply", you must use the proper "Reply" button to have a "Subject Line" show up.

I do it with Picasa.
1) Select all the pictures you want to resize.
2) Click on the button 'Export'
3) Choose your resolution and output quality
