I just bought a Nikkor Micro 55mm 3.5 (non AI version). Now I want to buy an adapter.
Is it the F-mount to m4/3 what I need ?

I think so. I have an AI-mount lens and there is no problem with using it with a very basic F adapter.

All the Nikkor lenses will work just fine... the "Ai(s)" has to do with use on FM+ body's that no longer use the external coupler, but, a ridge around the inside of the lens mount...

as you will not needing any of the metering stuff, these adapters don't have any Ai(s) parts on them..

I have that lens also, the last version before they went Ai...
Mine was Ai'd by the previous owner, My 135mm f/2.8 Nikkor is a Non-Ai, and works fine on the same adapter...

I ordered the adapter. After some google research I think I have a modified Lens.
A non AI modified to an AI lens. My lens is a second AI diafragma number ring.

@M5 User : I heard some really good things about this lens and saw your pictures in the archive. They really impressed me.
