You can adapt a Waist Level Finder from a 6x6 cm camera  Russian Keiv 88 is a Hasselblad 500cm copy, and the hoods are cheap...

I haven't heard of the "Carry Speed" device, but I have been looking into the Hoodman viewers myself. I nearly bought one, then pulled back because it's still quite expensive--including the little straps to keep it on your camera, it's $90-$100. And I've ready many reviews saying the thing is not nearly as rugged as it looks.

I have been looking at a few more ideas & I think I will try to modify a 35mm slide viewer I have for starters.
I have a Delkin screen cover/ shade but I still would like the camera held up to my eye & not extended away somewhat.
